I would like to add to my previous thought Foreman is more proven w the better wins. Liston looks better on film

He was fat because he started as 175 pounds fighter.
    25 pounds of muscle?
    I don't think so.

Leotis Martin, a amateur middleweight and later 175 pounder is now somehow good and real heavyweight?
Rubish...so that means Qawi and Toney are great heavyweights too?

    Poll is suitably narrow.

Nope it is not, Floyd never beat anyone of Norton caliber.

Come on, surely you know that Cleveland Williams fought Ali 2 years after Cleveland
was shot by a trigger-happy cop.Williams sustained horrific injuries and barely escaped
with his life.No wonder Williams was less impressive against Ali than Lyle and Chuvalo
    were.
Sonny Liston defeated a far more formidable version of Cleveland Williams than the one
    Ali defeated.

LHW Bob Satterfield who was known for bad chin, knocked prime Williams as fast as Liston and made Williams almost quit boxing.

What ??? Floyd Patterson defeated George Chuvalo,Eddie Machen and Oscar Bonavena.Floyd drew with Jerry Quarry in their first fight but practically everybody thought Patterson had won.
Floyd also gave Quarry a helluva fight in their second encounter.Despite losing on points quite a few people thought that once again Patterson had won.
Actually I've now changed my mind about Patterson vs Norton.I used to think it would be a 50/50 fight but actually I would now back Patterson to beat Norton.

Cleveland Williams came in as a late substitute against Satterfield. This, plus the fact that Satterfield
was regarded as one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history hardly discredits Williams.

George Chuvalo was almost killed against Foreman while Patterson went life and death with him.
Norton knocked out Quarry, beat Jimmy Young, beat Ali at least once and knocked Ron Stander.
I can say that Norton did better than Patty.

Norton would kill Patterson if he decks him on the chin while Patterson does not have the power to even hurt Norton who was only knocked by Foreman and Shavers, two hardest punchers in boxing history.

Not to mention Williams was still extremely green and years away from a ranking. But you’re wasting your time with this fool.

Very strong case for the worst non-troll poster I’ve ever seen.

Satterfield still had wins over fine fighters like Nino Valdes,Bob Baker and Harold Johnson.
As for being beaten by a middleweight ? How about Gene Tunney losing to middleweight Harry Greb ?
Fighters can occassionally lose to fighters from lower weights. It does happen you know.
