Hmm, The Patterson blow out Special and knockout Deluxe match Foremans wins over Norton and Moorer.
Williams*2 cover for the Chuvalo and Lyle wins.
I'm valuing the Machen win over the second Frazier win, considering Machen was prime (with some rumors of a compromised right hand) whereas Frazier was truly gone by then.
So it's Frazier 1 vs Foley, Besmanoff and Valdez.
Foreman has the single best win between them but Liston did a more thorough job clearing the division.

And sold grills, but aside from the Moorer win, his comeback is lacking in quality names (yes Qawi was good but unranked and rusty).

I feel like Foreman's wins kinda get reduced to only a few names whenever someone talks about his career. Let's not forget he's got the scalps of:
    Peralta x2
    Chuvalo
    Kirkman
    Frazier x2
    Norton
    LeDoux
    Denis
    Qawi
    Cooper
    Cooney
    Stewart
    Coetzer
    Moorer
    Briggs (Should be)
Now yes, some of the men like Qawi and Cooney weren't at their best, but they were still game, and still are good names on the board.

Er nooooooo............Valdes was good enough to beat Ezzard Charles and Tommy ' Hurricane ' Jackson.
As Pedro has pointed out Valdes defeated a younger version of the great Ezzard Charles then Marciano did.
Like Valdes Johnson defeated Ezzard Charles, plus Eddie Machen.
Honestly, you should check these things out before posting.

Nino Valdes also lost against Archie Moore who beat him like a drum to get Marciano.

    And Marciano KOed Charles.

Contenders who beat other B level fighters, if they're even that.

Satterfield and Moore beat Valdes like a drum.

Because he was great fighter, but he was smaller man than LaMotta.

In what way does an ancient retired Gerry Cooney of 1990 compared to a peak active Cleveland Williams of 59-60?

Actually you're right SQ,I should have pointed out to our friend that the Cleveland Williams who was beaten twice by Sonny Liston was far more formidable than the extremely washed-up
version of Cooney who lost to Foreman.

And it was still a great victory by LaMotta.
