I don't even know why i bother to aks, but please no haters.

before anything let me say i think pac is p4p #1 today.

pac gets a lot of credit for moving through the weights and dominating great fighters. but i thnik floyd was a better weight jumper, he never once demanded a catch weight fight, he always looked strong at the weight, and he never put on loads of weight between weigh in and fight night.

pac is a very good weight jumper, but making cotto lose 2 pounds was a bad move. anyone watching the fight knows that he'd have still kicked ass at 147, but it'd have looked much better for pac had the fight been at the limit.

Then Floyd shouldn't have agreed to 144 and just made the fight at 147. Instead he let the fans think that "the weight was made" in 24/7 only to pull a fast one at the weigh-in. Marquez could have easily canceled the fight, and Floyd would have been vilified rightly for not being a professional about things. Luckily for him, Marquez was too much of a warrior to back out.

Pac has done better in terms of jumping weight classes. Floyd was dominant at 130-135 against very good competition, but since he hit 140 his resume is only decent. Pac has gone up even more weight classes and consistently faced/beaten better opposition while doing so. Fighting Cotto at 145 is only a small negative for Pac, compared to the not-fighting elite Welters routine of Floyd. It's not hating, it's just a fact.

    you misinterpret.

i'm not askin who's resume looks better, it's a question of athleticism not ability. i think floyd is athletically better at moving through the divisions, he always come in at peak condiion, he's never weight drained, he never puts loads on.

Do you even have to ask?

106 to 147 kicking ass and taking names, how many times has someone done that in the past?

Since moving to 140 Floyd has not taken on the best in the divisions and has simply targeted weak champions and forced smaller men to jump weight to face him.
