Who do you think is the best example of winning the world championship title by a lucky punch. It must be someone who was clearly outboxed, was loosing the fight by a huge margin and then came with a lucky punch that won him the fight and the title. It must be a boxer whose winning punch was really a lucky punch and not a thoroughly prepared attack.

Weaver was hitting Tate with that left hook throughout the fight. In the beginning, it wasn't effective, but as the fight continued, Tate felt it more and more, and finally he got sparked out.
Although he had been a world champion multiple times before, if we are counting unification fights, then we must include Julio Cesar Chavez vs, Meldrick Taylor I. There..said it before anyone else beats me to it! LOL
Hasim Rahman. Then..you got Jorge Castro I think,he somehow found a hole and rocked Jackson hard with it.
Oliver McCall? He was literally throwing the punch while not looking at Lewis. But again, he practiced that combination with Steward.
Luck is where preparation meets opportunity. I think the only case of a lucky punch would be where a guy is winning the fight handily and gets himself DQ’d by hitting the other man when he’s down — the guy who was destined to lose got lucky that the other guy broke the rules and handed him the win.
