Who is the biggest punching MW out of... Dont post out of nostalgia or who you think is best or who you like the most, just post who you think is the biggest punching at MW, not any other division they have fought in, but focus on just MW and who was the biggest puncher in that division out of the fighters below (in no order) and place in order of who you think was the biggest puncher The fighters and their records before they moved away from MW for good or records at present in the division K Pavlik 35-2 32-KOs G McClellan 31-2 29-KOs G Golovkin 27-0 24-KOs N Benn 29-2 27-KOs E Miranda 28-2 24-KOs David Lemieux 29-2 28-KOs So who do you think is the biggest puncher at MW out of the fighters listed
McClellan had extremely heavy hands, coupled with amazing timing. Benn was such raw power, no timing or accuracy - just brute force. They were the biggest punchers.
I'm gonna go with pavlik/ggg.Martinez said pavlik hit him the hardest he's ever been hit.He said pavlike packed a tremendous punch.
1. McClellan 2. Benn 3. Pavlik 4. Golovkin 5. Miranda 6. Lemieux I don't think Lemieux should be in the same discussion as these guys. He's a can.
Well done for posting a list. With Lemieux the post isnt about whos best, but about punchers and David is a big MW puncher
I couldn't rank them but definitely McClellan on top. Benn is probably second. Are we allowed to bring other middleweight punchers in to the mix? Julian Jackson, Tommy Hearns?
Feel free. I forgot to include A Abraham but only wanted to include their time up to MW and not after, ie prime years/time He is LHW not MW
McClellan was the biggest puncher out of the fighters listed. Julian Jackson was more explosive than McClellan, but did not appear to be as heavy-handed.
1. McClellan 2. Golovkin 3. Ben 4. Lemieux 5. Pavlik 6. Miranda I think its roughly in this order but im sure there could be arguements about there power stakes. Lemieux was abit of a can crusher like but he certainly had pop..
