    Wait? WHAT!?!?!?!?!

Are you seriously suggesting Lomachenko could possibly beat Canelo at 160?

140 is most likely his ceiling, he beats Garcia and Bud, then we'll see from there. But I think 147 is a bridge to far, but I did think the same for Pac, so.... you never know.

I tend to think 140 is probably his ceiling as well, but at 147, with the right belt holder and timing, it's possible. Especially if they did something like a 144 catchweight for a 147 title, kind of like when Pac and Margo competed for a 154 title at 151, where neither of them were ranked at the weight. That's an extreme (and ridiculous) sort of example. But I think Lomachenko can win a title at 140, and possibly 147.

Pac could really punch though. Loma doesn't even carry especially notable power at 130. I have no doubt he could of ruled the wasteland Crawford sat atop at 140 with Terrence 'The Worst Nickname in Boxing' Crawford the only fighter of his unifying set that could be picked over Lomachenko with any confidence.

Would you have given him a chance against the recently deposed Ali?

Maybe not. But Lomachenko's skills and ring IQ are far superior to Pac's in my mind.

Point taken, however. I get what you're getting at.

Agree. I could even see him getting a strap from a Swift, Peterson, Malignaggi level Welter at full 147, but the Spence's and Thurman's would be far too much, Porter would be too.

At 154? Without having a fight north of 130? No.

I agree. With the right belt holder and timing, a full fledged 147 win against a title holder is possible. Plus, what is Loma? 30? His frame could still conceivably fill out a bit more, yet.

The man has stopped 9 of his 12 opponents, is he a one punch KO artist? No, but... he hits hard enough alongside his accuracy and punch technique, and that's enough to keep guys from just walking through him.

As others said, with the right opponent he could win a 147 strap.

But not now IMHO. He can't beat much larger guys who also have elite skill like Thurman, Spence, etc. Horn is probably too big as well IMHO.

That being said he'd have a chance against Sadam Ali who doesn't punch all that hard and would lose to all the 147 champs himself.
