Since Mayweather retired, we are always told by the media and other boxers that Canelo is the face of boxing. However, looking at the numbers of DAZN his pulling power doesn’t seem to show he is the face of boxing. I personally feel their is no face of boxing at the moment, but the two fighters that could be considered close are Canelo in north and South America, and Anthony Joshua in Europe.

Who do you think is the face of boxing if any? If you look at other sports soccer, football, MMA etc they all have faces when you think about them

You could argue Broner was in the picture a couple of years ago, but not now. Pushed way to quickly

Tyson Fury whilst we wacth AJ and Hearn running for the hills for the next 12 months.

Whyte might actually get his shot. He should sign with Arum whilst he's at it also. Bet he feels stupid he didn't sign for Top Rank in 2019. Under Hearn's spell.

Don’t think there is one currently. If we get an undisputed heavyweight champion that person could be the next face of boxing.

Canelo had the chance, but blew it in my opinion. Him walking away from the GGG fight in 2016 when the fight was in huge demand, the dodgy decisions he sometimes gets, and his one too many handpicked fights despite still being young soured him to a lot of paying fans.

If all these HW contenders actually live up to their hype along with the current champions then whoever is at the top of that mountain is Boxing's poster boy no doubt about it. The heavyweight division is in a different stratosphere to the rest when its hot. For now its Canelo based on numbers probably but he isn't very well known outside of the sport worldwide. The same applies for Fury and AJ who actually have become household names in the UK but its just the UK for now. If Fury or AJ were American it wouldn't even be competitive.

This. I’m still not convinced he can handle prosperity. Considering his track record Fury could go on to beat Joshua and become undisputed only to go off the deep end again. Fury has the boxing talent and charisma to carry boxing , but only time will tell if he has the discipline to consistently fight to his potential.

Going of talent and ability and marketability then it should be Spence but he's driving Ferrari's into walls, Crawford is literally too classy a man to be the face, guys from former Soviet blocc countries.......... Nah, people just don't get down with them, which is unfair. Tyson Fury and AJ are tools. I HATE Canelo but its him without question. I so want it to be Spence but he gotta put the bottle down amd hit up a dentist quick.

In 5 years the face of boxing is either Vergil Ortiz, Jarron Ennis, or Israil Madrimov.
