Loma was THE top guy at 135 while Wilder wasn`t and not everybody agreed that he ws the top guy at that point, Ortiz was beating Wilder in their rematch until geting sloppy and Fury did great v Wilder in the second half of their first bout.

I think KO of the year, and while Povetkin is my all time favorite fighter, I don't think KOing Whyte deserves fighter of the year. Loma has an insanely good resume for being 14-2, he's held five titles across three divisions.

    Lol imagine picking Crawford

Beating 1 totally shot over the hill Brit.

There dozens of boxers well ahead of Crawford who deserve fighter of the year.

This man will hide under Bob Arum's desk in till he retires with ZERO names on his resume. He is banking on Pacquiao to save him.

Lopez for sure. At the start of 2020, if anyone said Lopez would beat Loma, they would have been called every name under the sun.

On a British level, Maxi Hughes deserves a shout - the guy beat Jono Carrol and a Kazakh in Dubai.

    Overhyped?

Even ignoring his amateur pedigree he's a 3 weight world champion in 12 fights (unifying at 135) making 3 world champions quit.......

    Teofimo Lopez

Joe Smith Jr., Alexander Povetkin, and Tyson Fury are also good choices for Fighter of the Year.
