    Strange I have never ever ever ever heard it be called the Philly Shell before those games came out

    Though being that Benton was one of the early boxers that used it it would make sense

    thats what im saying alot of Philly fighters use that style hopkins,benton,etc etc and also Michigan fighters aka robinson,floyd,toney..............great style if you get it down right

    That it was and it still cracks me up when I hear it used. I know Mayweather Sr used it, Toney, Nards sometimes and obviously Floyd Jr, but I know it was used by others way before.
