Under rated art, one of the most suttle and disturbing things for a boxer to face.

    Who is better than Hopkins?

You mean at infighting? In that case Roberto Duran I guess. BIM says it all.

I love to watch fights on the inside. It's a truly great art.

Going off on a tangent here, people completely underestimate Ricky Hatton because of this. In his prime, he was an absolute beast on the inside and that made him very hard to handle. People say he didn't have skill but by the time most people saw him, he had changed his style to more lunging attacks and he was nowhere near as good. Maybe because of officials like Cortez? Who knows. I do think he was an excellent inside fighter though and that's like I disagree with these opinions that he was unskilled. He was tremendously skilled.

Anyway, Hopkins is good at it. I don't think he was better than someone like Frazier, Armstrong etc. though.

Im mean roughing him up while clinching, punching him in the ass, punching him when the ref is not looking, punching behind the head, low blows and getting away with it, holding and hitting, use of head in the inside, exerting pressure with you elbows on his rib cage, stepping on his toes.....

Inside fighting is not the same as being dirty.

I dont think he's an all time great in the category but he is definitely worthy of mention, Mr. Dwight Muhammad Qawi, formerly known as Mr. Dwight Braxton. the crazy thing about it was that he was probably an even better outside fighter, at 5'5 1/2 and fighting in a light heavyweight division where he regularly stepped in the ring with guys half a foot taller than him
