Who is the greater fighter between Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales?

Ps. I gave Morales 8 rds in that fight.

 

I think Barrera bested him 2/3, but they were relatively even in the trilogy, and I believe Morales' accomplishments give him a slight edge.


I'd say he ranks higher, but to say he's the better fighter feels kind of salty to me for some reason. Don't like the phrasing.

In one round he turned his own granite chin into a solid chin.

Boxers have wear and tear and eventually it catches up with you. He won the fight, he could have run, which I don't commend (odlh vs Trinidad), but he took some unnecessary hard punches just to prove he has big balls.

I like the brutality of boxing, but I'd like to see the fighters walk away healthy and live a good life with their families. Maybe This is a double standard, I don't know, but he should have jabbed PAC and tried to annoy him mentally.

 

Well if you agree with it, he must be right.

Two Gods that were made for each other.
They will always split fights because they could get under each others skins and just genuinely hated each other.

This wasnt any of that hollywood drama like PBF where they apologize and hug and kiss after the fight. These are pitbulls who if left alone in a room with each other you would find both of them dead from severe wounds.

Its so hard to separate the 2 that i hesitated clicking on this thread alot today.

My personal favorite has always been Morales but Barrera was always there with him.

Slight edge to Morales. Very slight.

 

I like Morales more but Barrera beat him 3 times............ got robbed in the 1st fight. Plus retiring Hamed who was ranked higher than Pac when Morales beat him.

I had Morales winning 8 as well. Felt generous and gave Barrera one of the close rounds. That was a robbery. Big time robbery.
