Who is the greater fighter between Marco Antonio Barrera and Eric Morales?

Morales would never run. Honestly, I thought PAC would knock him down in the 12th before the round started. I knew Morales would go out and go for broke. LoL
Morales doesn't seem punch drunk at all. I think he was weight drained a little too much for the second and third fight. He had no legs in the third fight. He looked fragile as ****.

 

Morales was recieving verbal blowjobs from the commentary team for the entire duration of the fight. The sentimental favourite. The underdog.

I scored the fight one point in favour of Marco Antonio Barrera. The fight resembled a close, competitive fight -- not a robbery.

 

I have'nt seen that rematch in a while, but I seem to remember that the HBO commentators were dead silent for most of the fight and became verbally excited in the last couple of rounds where MAB found some scoring opportunities due to Morales fatigueing.

Can you be bothered Addie to direct me to a round or two in that rematch to which you say Morales was getting fellated???


I could have sworn I heard more silence than normal coming from that HBO commentating crew throughout the Morales-MAB rematch......Jim Lampley in particular.

 

Not that you're here for a discussion, but Merchant is particularly unimpressed with the fight, and Barrera's tactics. "We Built ourselves up...for nothing". George Foreman was on commentary that night, and was adamant that Erik Morales deserved the victory. Like I said, I'm not expecting much of a discussion. You find it incredibly difficult to conjure up any positive thoughts when it comes to Marco Antonio Barrera.
