Greater fighter is Calzaghe. Greater legecy is BHop.

It's pretty simple to me. If two fighters fought near or around their prime, the fighter that won is the better fighter. For Hopkins to go and become champion after he lost to Calzaghe can only reaffirm that Hops was not a shot fighter then and therefore Calz beat a close to prime Hopkins.

I also believe that any fighter that Hops has beaten, Calz would beat as well.

Yep. I'm glad to see the poll results are fair. Calzaghe beat Hopkins fair and square in the ring - I had it to Joe by a single point - but Hopkins has the better resume by some way.

I believe that if Joe and Bernard had squared off in 2002 at 168, Joe would have won that fight by a small margin then too.

Hopkins's longevity and accomplishments are pretty special though and I say that as someone who doesn't like the guy very much.

Calzaghe. Torn Hopkins apart in his prime and not a racist.

Hopkins has a better resume, but Joe beat him fair and square, and would have beat him in 2002 as well.

So if you say, against each other who is the better fighter then Calzaghe. But if you say in the annals of boxing history, who will go down with a better resume, then Hopkins. Damn fish-eyes for not making better fights for Joe during his reign!

Like i said before , There are some Calzaghe fans that are levelheaded . This is a fine example .

Not all of them are delusional as you can see .

Due to Hopkins being at such an age to win a world title he will be looked on well, but if you look at resumes consider this.

Hopkins doesnt have a win as good as Eubank or undefeated Kessler on his resume, Calzaghe has that, and a win over Hopkins

Hopkins = ATG and HOF on multiple counts

Calzaghe = HOF on one count, title defences.

Hopkins. I rooted for 40Cal to beat Hop and I didn't see it. After that if it comes down to resume, it's a no contest. #Hop
