I like both fighters but Marquez wins this hands down. Joe achieved lots but left too many unanswered questions. Marquez is a ****ing legend.

    I agree.

As clearly as it is JMM, it is also very close.

joe calzaghe is the 2nd longest reign world champion in boxing history

11 years undisputed world champion he beat the undisputed middleweight champion and the undisputed light heavyweight champion :deal

It took Juan Manuel Marquez 10 years to win a vacant world title

He gets about exactly the respect he deserves in the States. Massively OVERRESPECTED in the UK. ****er made a determined effort to prolong his career and his title reign by avoiding the best fighters around his weight class, so **** him, pretty much. I respect his victory over Kessler and that's about it. We've seen what Lacy brings to the table, he wasn't **** once his left arm got hurt.

Clearly Marquez by a pretty big margin, not as big as some in this thread are saying though.

    No it wouldnt.

The answer is Marquez though, although threads like this are always designed to have a pop at the other guy.

  15. ktwat has an agenda. Clearly a Rojo who was so frustrated at seeing his hero battered about like a ragdoll by Calzaghe.:rofl:patsch
