Neither Hopkins nor Toney are in Hearns league when it comes to power.

How? Sorry I can´t see it. Hearns has the better resume, accomplishments are even, Hearns had the better longevity. I can´t see it. If we would talk about h2h than perhaps but that´s pure speculation and I don´t make any rankings based on speculation.

Why does Hearns have the better resume?

Just a guess, perhaps because he fought better fighters?

He lost his biggest fights. Its not about who you fight, its about you beat.

    Roy's resume is basically:

    Hopkins
    Toney
Tarver (who also beat him twice once by brutal KO)
    Ruiz

other than Hopkins and Toney Roy's resume is total garbage compared to Hearns who fought everybody around at the time unlike Jones who was perhaps one of the top 3 handpickers of his generation.

Man you have not seen even a tiny bit of either of these fighters resumes.

Hearns has been stopped more times than Roy and in his prime and hurt waaaaay more often, yet you go on about Roy having a glass chin. :patsch

Hearns was stopped by legit big punchers. Roy? LOL he was knocked out by feather fisted Glen Johnson. Hearns was not afraid to fight power punchers Roy was a cherry picker who was. Anyone who tries to tell me Roy has a better resume than Hearns is clearly clueless about resume's. Hearns not only fought the better fighters and took bigger risks he also beat better fighters. Do you honestly think Roy would have took some of the fights Hearns did? No way in hell his handpicking history tells us he wouldn't.

    Thomas Hearns, hands down.

RJJ is great, but he's no Hitman.

Okay, to cu it short Hearns wins over Duran, Benitez and Leonard - Hearns beat Leonard in their second fight, even Leonard himself admitted that - trump everything Jones did. Yeah he lost more often than Jones but he also fought the better opposition and for a longer time.
