pac being a four-time world champ (including the ring featherweight belt) and moving from minimum-weight to superfeatherweight is hands down the greatest asian boxer of all time. fighting harada doesn't even came close in terms of achievement. pac is still active and yet has achieved more than the flyweight and bantamweight belts harada held. skillwise, people here are overestimating harada's skills. Harada fought like a whirlwind, always trying to swarm his opponent yet harada doesn't compare to the athleticism and power pac possesses. bought fighters had been Ko'd before but pac built his chin as he progressed in his carreer, and i can't say the same for harada. pac is over-all a better fighter. Pancho Villa is even a better fighter than harada.

I think Pac has the Chance to surpass some of them. If Pac beat Hatton and Clean up the Lightweights & maybe beat DLH in his last fight, which is very Doable, He really has the Chance to be in the top 10 ATG.

If Pac still Dominates at 135 & 140, you think he will stop there??? He might even dare to call PBF and Cotto after that. And If he beat these 2(Anything is possible in Boxing) then we can have an Argument about Pac being the Greatest P4P fighter Ever.

i think you are referring to h2h..

how would you compare harada's resume over pac? do you think pac's comp is more solid than harada? i am filipino too but i think when it comes to resume harada has achieved more.. but h2h pac could beat harada imo

    100% agree!!!!:good

I was watching Harada winging Left & right Hooks relentlessly and I Imagine Pac as his opponent. Can you imagine Pac Throwing his Left straight in the Middle??? That would have been a very easy fight for Pac.

Maybe we can throw the Fat boy in your Avatar as a Tune up Before PBF. Or if the fight can't be made then Guzrun will be the perfect sparring Partner for Pac in the PBF fight. Tell your Boy to Apply for the Position. Roach gives incentive to sparring Partner who can Put down Pac on The Canvas. Guzrun can try for that extra cash!!!:hey

the imagination is wilder to think guzman could beat pac. lets get this straight, guzman is a level above gatekeepers but he won't beat elites. i've seen him tire against soto and the fight wasn't even intense. the fight with barrios is close compared to the hype of guzman as an elite.

resume wise pac still has the upperhand. he was defined by his fights with morales, barrera, and marquez plus a win over highly regarded sasakul. harada's memorable fights were with jofre, medel, famechon and kingpetch. but pac was winning fights on different weight classes and had been lineal champion more times.

    1 - Pancho Villa

    2 - Gabriel Elorde

    3 - Manny Pacquiao

    4 - Fighting Harada

    5 - Jiro Watanabe

This is my top 5 right now.

I have no problem with that . . . it's very much acceptable . . . but once Pac beats DiAZ UNDOUBTEDLY Pac should be on top.

There or therabouts. I did a top 20 just before Pac fought Juan Manueal Marquez, and I was off the opinion that Pac should be one if he beat Marquez - but that fight was so close, and I scored it for JMM.

I think if he beats Diaz and then performs one defence or unifies I will consider him #1.

imo, pacquiao could have surpassed elorde by now as the greatest pinoy boxer. a poll of pinoy boxing writers and officials last year has pacquiao at #3 and elorde and villa at #1 and #2 respectively. and that was before the mab and marquez rematch.

as to being the greatest asian fighter, it will all depend on how high people will put barrera, morales and marquez in the the all-time greats list after they were inducted in the HOF. and another plus for pacquiao is he's still active and could still improve his already great legacy.
