You only have to read through this thread to see why and for me not to waste my time recycling what people have already mentioned.

I do not discredit Pac, but for me he lost the JMM 2 fight, and the cliam he beat two ATG's, although they do ring true, they were not the prime fighters we have seen before. Manny lost to Morales when he was near his peak.

And yes before you mention, I do realise Pac is regarded as #1 P4P by SOME.

Harada has a superior win alone in Jofre and was the better boxer.

Who knows, Pac may surpass him at the end of his career if he makes waves at 135 and possibly 140, but for now, no, no, no.

Not that I expect you to take any of what people say in, you are so blinkered it's ridiculous.

Harada is my #1 choice, with Jung Koo Chang and Flash Elorde at second and third respectively. I haven`t had the time to check every page of this thread, but if I am the only one who has mentioned Chang and Elorde I`ll be disapointed, as both of these men are legends and bonafide HOF`ers by any standard.

Better resume, better fundamentals and overall boxing ability, better stamina, footwork and balance and far more versatile and durable than Pacquiao.... need I say more? The only edge Pac has over Harada is power, and it wouldn`t be a factor had they fought as Harada would have smothered Pac in close where his power would have been nullified to a great extent due to Harada forcing him on the backfoot.

Pacquiao is essentially a sitting duck if forced to go backwards, as he cannot get as much leverage and momemtum into his punches when going backwards making his oh so vaunted power nearly useless in such a situation. Harada would have had a field day with Pac, although to be fair to the Filipino he would have had his moments although few and far between to matter much in the outcome.

In article written last year (on your own Philboxing.com PacD), the results of a boxing panel from the Phillipines who were considered boxing experts or more concisely

they chose the top 10 Filipino boxers of all time (not even including other Asians).

    Elorde was #1.

How did Harada beat Jofre?? Is it more impressive Than Pac's dominating Ko wins against MAB and EM???

EM, MAB, JMM, Ledwaba, Sasakul are all better boxer than Pac. But Pac beats them all. That's why he's that Great.

Did Harada Recognized as a #1 P4P during his Prime???

Harada's not even close to Pac's Greatness. Try Google or yahoo and search for the Greatest Asian fighters of all time. The dominating name you'll see is pacquiao's name.

If you can find me an article by respected Boxing experts saying Harada is the one, Please show me!!!!

Do you honestly think I care about what the so called 'boxing experts' think, most of the time they are self appointed media personalities. I am sincere in saying there are more knowledgable posters in ESB's classic forum than 90% of the 'boxing experts' you can throw at me.

And shock, horror, you spew out the same garbage that in my very post I said you would. You my friend make yourself look very, very foolish.

Go home, take a breather, have fun with your kids, and analyse your life and state of mind, because quite frankly son, you are mentally unstable.

    I bid you good day.

Forget anything That Nathannielz wrote. He was the most not respected sports columnist in the Philippines. You can Pay him good and he can Hype whoever fighter you want.

During the Marcos Dictatorship Era. Nathanielz sucks Marcos nuts like he's sucking his Mother nipples for milk. GOD I hate him that time. Marcos must have Paid him good.

Remember when he head over heels defend Murad Muhammad during the time that Manny's suing him??? At the Present I think he's under the GBP Payroll.

Pac already surpassed Elorde's Greatness. Pancho Villa could have been the Greatest but it was cut too short by his death. Pac was tested and keep on calling the best competiton. He's not there just defending titles, He seeks the best fighters and Destroys them.

What the HELL did I just read?

Did you just ask whether wins over old warriors that had dozens of wars was better than beating an undefeated Jofre, at the peak of his powers?

Does it even matter how he beat them? Pac got a KO because they were old. Harada got close competetive decisions, but what does it matter when he's the only man to beat Jofre?

    :patsch

One: The author was not the person who made the list. He was simply reporting the results of a list compiled by what were considered knowlegable Filipino boxing writers and experts. So you cannot discount the article based on the author since it as not his opinion that I was quoting.

Two: The author gives his opinion seperately, and says he thinks Pacquiao is the greatest Pinoy fighter ever. But you just said he wasn't that bright.

I am quite surprised that almost everyone is noticing pacs win against mab, em and jmm but not mentioning chatchai sasakul... :-(
This guy is Thailand's national hero and was schooling pacquiao all the way down until pac caught him at rd 8 with a vicious jab close to the throat and his career never recovered to greatness..

sasakul fought 67 times with 64 wins (39KO) and 3 defeats.
He won 20 straight until he met arbachov and lost his challenge for the WBC flyweight title (and his 1st loss). BTW, arbachov that time was defending his title 9 times for 5 years.

Arbachov got injured during one of his defenses after that fight. so, a wbc interim flyweight was held and sasakul won it against a durable zabudio. and after arbachov got his groove back, he and sasakul fought the second time and sasakul defeated him for the wbc flyweight title.

sasakul defended it 2 times until he met a little known skinny guy called pac. He was schooling him til that infamous " I wish I was never born with that hit on the throat thing" in the 8th round courtesy of pac... that hit made him crawl like a man begging for his life. :good

after that lost, sasakul made a comeback and never recovered.

check out boxrec for sasakuk and arbachov's profile.

I'll take those Boxing experts words than the words from ESB forums egomaniacs. Who's going to write History??? Those known boxing writers or those ESB Egomaniacs like you, acb, sweepea, kg etc??? That's why I based all my Argument backed up by expert's opinion.

I have my own opinion too and seen and compare resume and fight footage too. Pac was one of the Greatest in all Boxing history. harada's not even close.
