No way you can rate those guys over Harada. There is no argument to be made rating Elorde over him. And do you neccessarily think Watanabe would be even the best 115 pounder of his era, or better than Kingpetch?

Harada wasn't Filipino, so where does that come into play? Harada was easily the best Japanese fighter ever, in a country that turned out better fighters than the Filipines.

Beaten twice? Last I checked Pac won. When you start talking like that, I might aswell say Harada lost to Joffre twice. Seeing as judges dont matter anymore and its all about personal opinion. And Pac should have been p4p #1 last year soon as PBF lost to ODLH.

I've given the comparison to your BFF PacDBest far too much to do so again. Look it up. I've compared their resumes and lists of opponents, and Harada holds the clear edge.

    Pacquiao Number 1
    Harada number 2

    Get over it.

Harada lost his against some quality opponents but Pacquiao beat his.
And he did through more divisions.

And if people on here are saying Jofre is a better win than Barrera it is but not by much.
Then you have Morales and JMM were the other big named fighters he lost to in Rose and Medal.

It is close but you have to take in the fact that Pacman probably has 3 or 4 big fights left in him.

He will and should be the best Asian fighter and he is the best fighter today since PBF retired.

Your initial claim was that he didn't establish the jab, which is easily refutable with just the short footage I showed you.

Now you are chaning your criteria of establishing the jab to "controlling the fight with his jab". Funny, I never knew a boxer had to control a fight with his jab just to establish it.

And finaly, for you to say he should have done it more than just a round just goes to show me you haven't watched the fight. His jab was pumping from go, and I own the fight and viewed it as recently as last Thursday.

Harada was just a more talented, versatile fighter than Pac.

The main arguement for Manny is that Harada had a relatively short prime.

What, did you find out that Pac has some Aussie blood in him recently or something?

The opponents that Harada beat were not only better, but most assuredly the ones he lost to, most of which took place past his prime. Regardless of the weight classes the much naturally bigger Pacquiao has conquered, the level of opponent is not the same as those on Harada's resume.

The Barrera fight is one you overrate, as Barrera was clearly not at his best in the first fight. Hell, a further shot version of Barrera fared better against the more experienced Pacquiao. That should tell you something about the Barrera of the first fight. Not to mention, even if both at their best, Jofre is still a considerably better win than Barrera.

With the losses to guys like Rose, you're taking into account the further shot version of Harada, which we have not yet seen from Pac. Either way, his wins trump Pac's by a good margin. And as has been mentioned, Harada was simply the better, more skilled fighter.

What Happened to Pancho Villa? This thread is **** without him at #1. Please.. this guy was selling out the Polo grounds as a Filipino in the 20's breaking guys heads before he even hit his prime. And then he died at 24.

Beat HOF Gennaro, HOF Johnny Buff for the belt, and the greatest Flyweight of all time Jimmy Wilde. I dont wanna hear excuses how Jimmy was past it. He was twice the size of Villa and Villa beat him from pillar to post. And just a kicker of how great he was..the crowd ..yes white folks in the Polo grounds was chanting Villa! Villa! Villa!..yes they did
