You also noticed that hes ancient right...And I said Elorde was better than Gerry.

Sometimes especially in the Philippines as you know..its all about timing and circumstances...I mean look at Espi for example..sure not the greatest but could have been better..same case for Gerry I think..had he been with Roach 15 years ago who knows...this is the same Gerry that can make a claim ala JMM that hes never lost a fight

Elorde vs Pac at 130lbs is a very interesting matchup.

Should we make the thread? Or should we avoid it, lest we be called Pac haters?

I would avoid it. It's not his best weight. There are a number of 130lb fighters who could defeat Pacquiao. Just as there are a number of 175lbers that could defeat Jones Jr, even if he may be a greater fighter overall.

Pacquiao should be matched with ATG's at 122 and 126.

Its funny I love Pac and I like his fans too...The problem I have with some pinoys are that they have forgotten other fighters we've produced..Its like what have you done for me lately..Its a ****in phenomenon..this Pac thing.. I bet theyd drag Flashs name through the mud lol

I will leave it alone, although I have seen it on other forums before and with some good points from both sides. I'm tired of Pac threads though, and next week is going to be crazy around here.

Um no im not but hey you there expert on Aussie boxing journo's at the time and hey youve read Lionel Rose's Auto biography so your the expert.

I dont recall the name of who wrote the articles in the Papers but back in the 60's
The Age did many stories on boxing.

But hey your the so called expert i never claimed to be im just saying that Rose thought Harada was a soft puncher and even hurt his hand in that fight yet still beat him.

As for watching Harada i havnt that much ill be honest but really most if the time the guys like yourself take the **** out of Pacman just because of his fans.

Look i hate PBF fans but i know he is one the best ive seen. Im not taking that away from him.

You guys like i said are entitled to all your opinions its just as soon as someone takes up the fight you suddenly become experts and your word is gospel.

Well not in my house i like my chats and discussions with Sweet Pea and even ACB i never said at any point that they were wrong or they arent entitled to think that Harada is better but i feel you think im just some Aussie boxing fan that only visits boxrec.

Oh i have a question have you read Rose's book. and the 2nd question is does Harada have a biography i might try to get my hands on it.

Look i try to be as neutral as i can be i hate the fact when im going toe 2 toe with Sweet Pea which is by the way one of the best posters on here. Someone else comes along then another then another and the run in like these little Posse's:lol: Dont worry i wont lose any sleep over it.

Pacaman KO 1 ove Harada:lol: :yep Im just taking the ****.

Look also guys this even goes to everyone.

I would love to continue but i have to go and pick up my new born son from hospital.

Lets just hope he is a future Boxing Champ.

I will make it, but not now for reasons of timing. The board is too hot and bothered about Pac now to do anything productive.

Add into this equation that people have seen just as little Elorde as they have Harada and you have this thread, but maybe uglier.

Lord knows. I am gonna get going for the week and come back next week. I feel that some perspective will be needed amidst the chaos and extremism. I won't have the energy for that if I keep up these long debates.

The last time Pac fought (and his long awaited decision to choose Marquez) were two very draining times on ESB.

Leaving is the thing to do this weekend you are right.
