That is absurd to me. I understand lack of popularity among the mainstream public and casual boxing fan, but I figure the HOF commitee would be a bit wiser.

None of the fighters you named are HOF either, they're "future HOF" in your opinion. So we're at the same level there. JMM doesn't deserve a HOF rating above the guys mentioned on Harada's resume. A guy like Kingpetch holds wins over Harada, Ebihara, Seki, and Perez X2(HOF'er and top 50 boxer of all time according to Ring), if that's not a HOF resume than how the hell will JMM get in?

The HOF committee has been long criticised for its choices, and for good reason. Letting lesser fighters with greater popularity in over more deserving, accomplished fighters being a main reason. They're biased and flawed just like the rest of us, the sooner your feeble little mind learns these things, the better.

All boxing expert today are saying JMM, MAB & EM are all lock to the HOF. Kingpetch went 1-1 against Harada & Ebihara. He never has a legit reign at the title. He won it the lost it again. SEki's the same no title longgetivity.

I got a revelation for you. Something you conveniently left out. Pac fought Marquez 6 months after Barrera. Harada fought Espinosa 8 weeks after Jofre (non title bout). He then fought Antonio Herrera (non title bout) in just 3 months after that. Then defended his title against Jose Medel just over 2 months after that. Had another fight (non title) against Palacio 3 months later, AND defended once again against Carabal 3 months latter. When he wasn't fighting the top contenders of his day, he stayed busy. Don't try to pass off that rubbish of "see who my guy fought" and "see who your guy fought" with out suppling all the facts. Another sorry joke I've taken exception to is your pointing out that Harada fought mostly at home while Pacquiao fights mostlyb abroad. What you fail to take into consideration is the amount of money that a little fighter can make in the US today compared to when Harada fought. Do you seriously have any doubt that if Harada could make Pacmany type money (hell, Derrick Gainer type money) that he would have any problem fighting outside his homeland? If you do, immediatly take off your shoe laces and hang yourself, you are smart enough to keep breathing.

Kingpetch also went 2-0 against another great fighter in Pascual Perez, a higher-rated opponent than Pacquiao has ever faced as well.

MAB and EM are locks yes, but JMM has no more case for getting in than Kingpetch, Medel, Famechon, or Ebihara. Kingpetch for certain should be in the HOF by now. Lack of popularity is the only reason I can see for him not getting inducted.

Those HOF guys you talk about are the boxing writers of America. It costs 30 bucks to become a member and you dont need any qualifications in order to vote. In other words, you can know **** about a fighter but still hava a say whether or not he gets in. It isn't a bunch of boxing histoians who get the say, but people with an opinion who sometimes don't know squat. Now I haven't been on this board very long but I will say this......There are some posters on here, Sweet Pea being one of them, that have excellent knowledge of this sport and its history, and who's opinions I would hold in much higher regard than the guys who voted Barry McGuigan into the HOF.

This is all true, a point I forgot to make. Anyone can become a member, in fact we have a few on our site, a 21 year old in the Classic Forum(SuzieQ49) being one of them.

how come you dont mention sasakul??? do you even know him? here you are the pseudoexpert doesnt even mention the guy. he beat the arbachanov ( spelling is tight) who was the man for 5 years. sasakul and him met for the first time and sasakul lost via a controversial one. it was sasakuls first lost and until they met for the second time and sasakul won and he became the lineal champ. and as the story goes, pac whooped him and became the man..

BTW, (highlighted ones).. is it lack of popularity or you just encircle topics to save your ass.??

:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

trust me they are not that good thats why they are not there.
EM, MAB, and perhaps jmm and sasakul will be there :good :good

Sasakul's only big win was a past prime Arbachakov in the last fight of his career, whom he'd lost to in the first fight. If you think Sasakul is a HOF'er, then there's no question all of the fighters I named would be first ballot. You're just too pig-headed and ignorant to realize this. Every single one of them has a better resume than Sasakul, as well as JMM while we're at it.

Look it up. I was arguing with some clown on another board about a year or so ago. He swore he knew the criteria for induction. I did a little research, and the truth set him free. In other words he shut his mouth because he was busted. Its not always this way, but in many cases induction is a popularity contest instead of being based on competition and achievement.
