Nice inputs from everyone. Wouldn't argue with any of those. :good

    Here's my list.

    1. Pacman
    - wins over future HOFer's EM, MAB, JMM(possible) total 5 time all in all.
    - 4 Division champion. Could be 5 depending on his next fight.

    2. Elorde
    - wins over HOFer's Saddler, Laguna
    - Longest reign as champ at 130 ever, at 7 years.

    3. Villa
    - Win over HOF'er Jimmy wilde. Had 100+ bouts

    4. Harada
    - 2 wins over HOF'er Jofre
    - 2 Division champion

    PS: Sniffet from an article.

Meanwhile, Joe Koizumi a correspondent of the Ring Magazine since 1964 and a 2008 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee thinks that the Filipino icon is the best in the Asian region and has surpassed all the other all-time greats of Asia.

“He is better even than the great Flash Elorde. He is the greatest Asian boxer of all time," said Koizumi

This is coming from a man who really knows boxing. Joe Koizumi who happens to be Japanese himself, and someone without a clear BIAS and hatred. :good

since the thread is the best asian fighter of all time, and not just 'boxer', i thini'd have to go with samart payakaroon hands down. pacquiao could've outboxed him, but samart would've kicked his butt muay thai style. check the guy's boxing and thai boxing. a legend, no doubt.

If were talking the purely the best asian fighter, then payakaroon certainly comes into the discussion.:good

Jofre didn't do much in the first part of the 7th, but he clearly did more damage than Harada in the whole round in the second part as Harada took the worst.
Both in the 7th and in the 9th, Harada was busier, but Jofre was landing the harder shots, mainly to the head. Harada was on his jab, but many of his jabs were missing or blocked. Jofre was throwing lees, but doing more damage.
I'm pretty sure both were stunned in the 11th, but I'll try to watch the fight again.

I already Mentioned HOF Joe Koizumi's words in the other thread and yet acb & Sweepea still thinks no way Pac's the Asian Greatest. They think they're smarter than these respected Boxing Personalities.

C'mon guys find me one Boxing expert saying Harada's the Greatest Asian???

youd be surprised how many fans know more than the proclaimed experts. same goes in the nba, mlb, nhl, nfl, golf, etc...

but its safe to say every one of these writers know more about boxing than you. stick to pacquiao my man. or argue with the points made by other posters.

I'm a Pacquiao expert. That's my specialty. I studied all Pac Fights. I studied Fighters that can compete with his style and Greatness. Armstrong, Pep, SRL, Duran, DLH, PBF, SRR, Sanchez etc these are the guys I've compared him too.

Harada's not even come close to Pac. Just a quick look at his resume and Video footages and I can see right away the Difference. Pac's speed, Stamina, relentlessness and Power are one of the Best in all Boxing History. Very Few Asian fighters come close. Harada's not even in league of the power/Skill level of MAB, EM and JMM. These Generation of Featherweights are the Best Batch in All Boxing history(Check the Latest Ring Magazine) Pacquiao tops them all.

    [yt]nN0QekwjTYw[/yt]

Listen what Doug Fisher of Maxboxing saying around 3:40 and 7:12. This already is History in the Making. Those words is what will be written in history. "You can throw Pac's name with ATgreats just because of wins against the Three Greatest Mexicans in the last 30-40 years." There's no debate. Pac already is the Greatest Asian Fighter of all time. Pac's is now gunning for the Greatest Ever. Wait after he Koes Hatton. I can't wait what Boxing historians will say about Pac after that.
