Who is the greatest boxer of all time (let's be creative, without Muhammad Ali)

He def passes the eye test quite nicely and dominated some great boxers as well as having one of the highest boxing IQs ever. So I def think he would be great in any era he fought in.

 

No doubt Floyd would be a problem for anyone in history, bar none. He could compete with anyone.

 

Fair enough but his performances were still very notable. He clearly beat Chavez and at least fought DLH evenly or better.

As a post above notes, if boxers from the old days saw his pull counters, how effective he is with the shoulder roll, lead right, check hook, etc, they would not be thinking he's an easy fight
