Modern era I'd say Lewis easily.

 

Lewis or Fitz. Def. not Wilde IMHO, his record is too thin on quality opponents.

 

based on achievement it Bob Fitzsimmons,

but the best fighters in British history for me are

1. Benny Lynch
2. Randolph Turpin

 

Lennox Lewis isn`t even British FFS!!! and he was one of the dullest fighters around.

 

that would make Bob Fitzsimmons a Kiwi in your book too lol

But simply for being a champ in 3 of the most stacked divisions, bob has to be right up there.

I'd go for Jimmy Wilde, a flyweight knocking out light middleweights, thats gangsta!

 

not sure on this there are quite a few to consider kid lewis,lennox lewis ,fitz, benny lynch, plus one or two more and of course audley

has to be lennox lewis in my lifetime and hatton for excitement there will people in the past who would of been better than them tho
