I'm not saying it, just surprised to not see it yet. Plenty of people go ape **** saying its not like he fought anyone even half decent once he won his title. And there were two of the best the division has known in fairness, in Watanabe and Roman, around at that time. Not sure who did the 'cherrypicking' though so i can't say definitively, but Roman and Watanabe at least got it on together.........

Yep he cherry picked Toney and Hopkins in his mid twenties alright, when there were far harder options out there :rofl:rofl:rofl

    Just stop posting pin-head.

None of this happened. His warped, hate-filled brain has concocted all this garbage to support his theory that Pac is scared of black men. The guy is a sicko.

Or we could have just saw what inferior boxers in Quintana and Cotto did and just outbox both of them for an easy decision.

He is for real, it's just that he is the worst poster on this site, a poisonous bigot and a moronic maggot.

Floyd, Pac, Dlh and Sugar were cherry pickers. If you don't understand why they are called this, it's because you don't know the definition of the term. You know that I have ZERO respct for you, so I could care less whatever you say about me lol... You are the clown 'not in the know' of the expression lol...

i agree, dont see one bit how you can call dlh a cherry picker? who the hell else was he supposed to fight? he lost most of the time but he fought all the top guys near his weight.

Do you not think that Mosley and Williams could've forced Floyd to show more of his skills than Baldomir and Hatton? Great fighters produce greatness when put under pressure. SSM and the Punisher would've given Floyd more intense fights than those two. Nah?

HBO was building that fight, and were disgusted at how Guzman fought Soto which was superb in the real boxing fans eyes. The man beat Sot, who is as tough as they get, and got no love.

    Explain yourself.

Are you saying a "cherry picker" is somebody who handpicks their opponents?

I consider a "cherry picker" a fighter who handpicks the easy opition.

Oscar fought the who's who of the last 10 years.

Floyd fighting Baldy for the WBC tite was not cherry picking. Floyd fighting Hatton instead of Shane, Cotto or Williams was cherry picking. The champions who have earned th right late in theri careers to do this are usually termed this expression.

Perhaps but Oscar has always had the freedom to choose his opponents throughout his career because he was the big draw.

However, he always took on challenges when he could have easily made millions fighting Baldomir.

Mosley would get tired. Cotto beat him off the back foot because of this. Mosley gets tired and it becomes fairly easy for Floyd with his ability to fight off the back foot and his defense. Williams would be a tough fight now since he's probably improved, but I'd still like to see him against another guy with counter punching ability and defense like Cotto. And not old and rusty like WInky.

Frankly, while these guys are a step above Hatton and maybe 2 above Baldomir, the welterweight division wasnt what it was made out to be before these guys really got "exposed" if you will against eachother and better competition. None are complete fighters. They all have weaknesses. Glaring weaknesses.

The only fighter I would pick to give Floyd trouble and be in it the whole fight are Pacman and WIlliams mostly because of his activity. I think he beats Mosley, Cotto and Margarito comfortably.
