There is no argument for Roy Jones ducking Calzaghe in 2000 or Hopkins II... None whatsoever.

DM was just as reluctant to leave Germany as Roy was to go... that is both their fault, but I have read that Roy was actually trying to make that fight..

Euabank has pretty much stated he wanted no part of Roy.

I'm a big fan of most of those guys, but Roy was in a position where he could make easy money fighting nobodies. In restrospect, he could of course have fought them for less money, had a much better legacy and he still would have ended up broke. . .

Floyd isn't much better, he cashed in on his legacy a long time ago.

Floyd is ducking both Pacquiao and Sergio right now, and countless others in years gone by.

    Very disappointing.

Compare delahoyas career opponents next to floyds. Its laughable.

Now factor in Delahoya being retired for the last 5 years. Its even sadder.

Boxing is not a sport where you go undefeated while never having any life and death fights - IF you're taking on the best. Which Floyd has clearly not since getting to welterweight.

At 140 Cotto was a prospect and green, I wouldn't fight Floyd if I was Cotto. At 147 when he was fighting the big names was when Floyd and Mayweather should have gotten it on. I thought that both were going to fight until I saw Floyd interview...Floyd didn't want to fight because Cotto was from puerto Rico . What does Cotto being from Puerto Rico have anything to do with it :patsch. For a guy who talk alot, Floyd is the most chicken fighter i've ever seen. He fought no big name while he was at 147...no Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, or Williams. PAC even have to be the one to come up and showed him , that's why PAC won the fighter of the decade and not Floyd.

    Floyd is ducking

    Sergio Martinez
    Manny Pacquiao
    Canelo Alvarez
    Amir Khan
    Andre Ward
    Carl Froch
    Tavoris Cloud
    Chad Dawson
    David Haye
    W. Klitchko
    Jon Jones
    Anderson Silva
    & Kimbo Slice

Just thought I'd get that out of the way. That's clearly where the "logic" of these idoits is headed.

I was referring more to the fact that Floyd and Arum will seemingly never unite for a promotion of any kind. And that is both of their stances and faults.

And keep in mind he's also ducking Alvarez, Geale, Khan, Ortiz rematch, Golovkin, Matthysse, Judah rematch, Froch, Hatton rematch, and Krzystof Wlodarczyk.
