Hopkins comes to mind as my GOAT after coming off a loss.

Judah has done well - beat spinks in rematch, gave floyd trouble after losing to baldomir.

edit: look at the 1 fight directly after a loss.

Willie Pep. He won 73 fights over five years after his first loss.

Sugar Ray Robinson was 40-0 before losing to Jake LaMotta in 1943. He went 128-1-2 before his second loss to Randy Turpin for the middle weight title in 1951. That was 8 years and 91 fights before his next defeat. He won the welterweight and the middleweight titles during this time period.

Probably Joe Louis as posted above. Definitely the most historical. Patterson came back from the first Johannson fight very well also.

    Not sure I completely understand...

I guess Sugar Robinson's return wins over Turpin, LaMotta, and Fullmer stand out.

    Also Walcott.

Return wins over Ezzard Charles, Elmer Ray, Joey Maxim, and Johnny Allen was pretty boss.

This thread died fast. Was hoping to hear about more records.

Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Marvin Hagler were all great rematch fighters.
