    By not fighting him?

Are you telling me that the 90's were great years for heavyweights?

The 2 dominat forces didnt fight until one was a spent force.

I am sorry, but to put a guy who got lost to Ruiz and moorer ahead of Floyd is just stupid.

I actualyl can't believe I am defending Floyd as I detest the twat, but I do recognize the ability he has.

I read Sweet Pea's posts and I respect his opinion, even if I don't agree with it ...

I think he had too much difficulty dealing with a SP, and I think he actually showed that his chin has improved( he needs to move up he's too damn big for FW, I think that's the problem with his chin ), but he didn't look very solid. And by that I mean he didn't really do ****.

MN? It depends on what you're looking for.

Calzaghe has never fought anyone ... if Floyd stayed at superfeater or lightweight then he couldve pilled up 20 defenses of his title ...

Pavlik is an up and comer who's just begining his reign as champion ... Floyd has fought in 5 divisions when no one thought he was big enough to even compete ... along the way he's maintained a championship of some sort for 10 years running and has had 20 title fights ...

Floyd has fought more champions than Calzaghe and Pavlik put together ...

Calzaghe a greater fighter then a young Mike Tyson who took on anyone; in longevity only surely.

Holyfield was the one considered shot against Tyson, as he was a 25-1 underdog, or did you forget that little bit? He was even the underdog in the rematch, and we all know what happened there.

And Holyfield also beat those guys, Ruiz when he was clearly way past it. Moorer as well in fact.

Elementary answers don't fly with me. I can just as easily take your answer and assume that Lewis then in turn ducked him, since your answer would apply to both.

The 2 dominant forces were not the only fighters within the division. And your answer doesn't actually cover what I said.

Losing to Ruiz at the end of your career, and losing to Moorer after having a heart attack in the ring certainly doesn't downgrade a fighter.

I recognize Mayweather's ability as well. I also recognize his deficiencies. You point out that Jones dodged fighters, then say Mayweather "hands" down when the list of fighters he didn't fight is lengthy? Not to mention the fighters he DID fight were not as good as the one's Jones or Whitaker fought? Sorry....not buying it.

Yes...isnt he the guy who Tua blasted out in a minute and an old Ambling Foreman sparked?

Maybe you are thinking of some other one that I never heard of.

PBF, best fighter of the last 20 years. Who knows, in a year, he may not be.

Right now, in my opinion he is
