Why did you sign up for these forums? To stir **** up? Or do you actually intend to be taken seriously?

Post Mayweather's resume and I'll tear it apart the same way. Anyone can do that, to anyone's resume.

One could do the same with Mayweather's resume. But we already know that stating the obvious seems to annoy you.

Listen kid, if you disagree with me about PBF, thats fine. I can live with it. there are a few other good names on that list. But i am not gonna be told that the heavyweights in the 90's were strong.

In that case, I'm not gonna be told that Floyd's resume is strong under that criteria, as pretty much every one of his best opponents can be picked apart.

PBF has the advantage of coming up in an era where he's a cut above the elite fighters out.

No other fighter has won championship in 5 different weight classes in 10 years. He has more championship fights than many fighters on that list and has an unblemished streak full of championship fights.

I agree 100% about the resume. So why did you post it?

Is it so outlandish for someone to say:

-The heavyweight division in teh 90's wasnt that strong
-PBF of the list given is the best fighter of the last 20 years?

I am not stirring **** up. I am an old man and found this site recently but these 2 opinions of mine seem to have you all in a tither.

Who do you know that won a world title w/o any regional belts, title eliminators and in his first year and a 1/2 to 2 years as a pro.

    No 12 rounders --

Agreed. So can Haglers, so can Ali's. You can always find fault. But, sir, it was you that started posting resumes

How would we know unless he faces them?

Against inferior champions than the fighters we've mentioned beat. I think winning 3 championships in 3 of the original 8 weight classes(FW, LW, WW) in a year is far more impressive than winning 5 in 10. Armstrong also would've won 4 titles, including the MW title against Ceferino Garcia, had he not been robbed of the Decision he clearly earned.

How does Floyd stack up against that?

I was ridiculed the other day for asking for a comparison between SH Spinks and SH/SM Calzaghe, yet Spinks doesn't even get a mention here, but Calzaghe does.

When he proves it, then he will get his due. He gets great credit for beating Corrales when he did. Hatton is iffy. No other "elite" fighters on his resume at the time of the fight.

I don't believe his resume to be weak, in fact there's no real argument other than hate for anyone to say otherwise, especially with a natural Cruiserweight. Floyd's resume is clearly weaker.

I can live with the first statement a lot easier than the second, which there is no case for at all.

That's because they're pretty outlandish opinions, particularly the second one. I'd like some kind of argument to back it up, rather than just "It's my opinion so nyeah!"
