Btw Jones jr then Pea..... I'm a little biased towards Roy :) but my reasons would be the way Jones won fights in his prime. Although i agree that Sweet Pea had a better resume I don't believe its that much better. Roy's wins over Hopkins and Toney are as good of wins as any of Whitakers wins. After you get through about 5 -7 of Roy's wins though Sweet Peas resume is alot stronger...

What if he doesn't lose, what if Calzaghe does not lose?

Does that make him a better fighter than Roy Jones?

Jones run lasted at least 15 years. Chavez's longer than that. Whitaker's lasted at least 15 as well.

So since you are using the end of their careers against them so as to make a logical (through illogical means) argument for Mayweather over Jones and Whitaker even though he has not reached that point in his career, I feel it is necessary to hold it against Mayweather that he does not have the longevity of the other fighters, and drop him down a notch.

Now do you want to actually compare their careers, skills, and accomplishments? Or would you like to add other silly caveats in an effort to boost one fighter over another, and attribute arbitrary values to each caveat?

RJJ followed by Whitaker, Lewis afterwards. I voted for Lewis because i'm a fan of heavyweights, but RJJ and Whitaker accomplished more above their natural weight.

Not to mention that Jones was ****ing untouchable in his entire run up to 2003.

I'm glad Whitaker got so many votes. I've voted on RJJ however, I've never seen anyone like him. But Whitaker was so good as well! :good

Odd that you managed to miss this little post of mine fitz, I'm still awaiting your response. I doubt you'll actually find the balls to respond, as you know it tears down your entire argument.

Yah, like I said, Jones' streak lasted 15 yrs.

And Chavez didn't lose for 14 yrs and many, many more fights.

Again, where are do you place your value?

Chavez's streak was longer in years and fights. So how does Mayweather surpass him, if this is your criteria? He also defended his titles more.
