My favorite fighter would be Tito Trinidad ... but based on actual greatness ... Floyd hands down.

No....can't put him in that category. His potential as a nuthugger is limited by his need to sometimes admit that there is a reality outside his own.

I'm from Pensacola. I still voted Jones as #2 behind Whitaker. I still keep him in what is considered his most common place among ATG's which is in the 20's (some have him further back and I have no quarrel with that). He is certainly not the GOAT.

Using your "hometown" as an excuse for your bias is just that, an excuse. Better to just admit the bias upfront instead of pretending that you would be of the same opinion without it.

 

Fitzgerald still hasn't answered my question. At least now we know that even he doesn't believe what he's been saying, so I guess it's all good.
