Marciano was like Hasim or Oliver McCall to me... whenever I think about a heavy weight champion. The guys resume is tatter with fights with guys not fit to mow the lawn. He'll get beat easily by 95% on the champs in the top 25. He's like the heavy weight Ricky Hatton.....

Also, RJJ would best all these guys at heavy weight easily. And you would agree to if you take your emotions out of it. Be objective....

Larry Holmes, Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, Klits bros, beats them (Louis and Rocky easily ... Ali fights life and death with some and loses a couple) too.....

True for all sports but less so for boxing IMHO as boxers have always trained harder than athletes in any other professional sport.

There is far less of a difference between the fitness level of boxers today and boxers of yesteryear than say baseball or football.

Hell I think the HW today are in worse shape with a few notable exceptions.
