The guidelines are to protect a fighter. Nowhere will you find one aspect of protecting a fighter is more important than another. And as far as the Ali fight goes, it highly doubtful it would ha e been stopped today so your argument is for nothing. Ali was up at 4 and made it back to his stool more warily than anything else. I can give you countless more examples of fighters in the same situation where a fight wasnt stopped. Some have already been presented to you but you conveniently havent seen them.
