    Pedroza
    Pea
    Starling
    Curry
    Chang
Quite likely Duillio Loi and Eddie Perkins as well

Michael Watson and Winky Wright both very good without being flashy.same with most of the better Mexican boxer-punchers.

A fair few fighters with potentially top notch infighting technique that didn't bother to linger there much as well.McCallum, Lora, Gregory, Conteh, even Eubank at times though he sometimes fought pressuring fighters like the inside was hte last place he wanted to be.

Certainly for a tall heavyweight. Eddie Futch really sculpted a gem when he trained Bowe. What a waste of talent and skill.:patsch

Inside fighting, like all boxing, is a combination of offense and defense.

Dempsey and Bowe had porous defense on the inside. I don't think either qualify.

Amen to that. Watching a prime Toney stand in front of a guy and dissect him on the inside is one of the most beautiful thing we've seen in this sport (to my eye). Steroids aside, it is surprising to see how clean James has always been... for such a trash talker. That is why I pick him over a guy like Hopkins.

On steroids, I'm an idealist kind of guy and to me everyone are clean until proven otherwise... you can also call that supidity. I'll always enjoy rewatching old Toney fights, but he was proven guilty at one point and you won't see me try to excuse him. I want boxing to be clean and the least I can do about it is not support known cheaters.

Tyson was not very good inside. He was good mid-range. Inside, he could get tied up easily or forced to tie up.

    Yea.

Tyson was often the one doing the tying up. He wanted to rest inside.
