Beating Gatti, Brussels and Corley doesn't make you the best 140lb fighter of the last 20 years.

Beat me to it :good Flea will love this- based on OPPOSITION its a no: a best of chop chop and a scarily shot (and made for Floyd) Gatti and even based on ability for me sweet pea tops him so its a no for Floyd on more than 1 count

Kostya doesn't have that one massive win but Judah was pretty decent tbf. However he hung around and beat most of the contenders.

The likes of Mayweather and Pac only stayed for a few fights so didn't really establish a legacy in the division.

Yep, you hit the nail on the head. Many were tipping Mitchell, Chavez still had a bit about him prior to Tszyu, Judah was hot property going in.

Tszyu rebounded strongly and lived up to the hype surrounding him pre Phillips. He could of easily gone Don Curry or Mark Breland on us after his upset defeat, but no, he went Motor City Cobra, and rebounded strongly.

One of the qualities that make him the finest 140lber of the last 20 years.

I actually think Ricky is a conceivable no.1. Has one big win, an awkward dangerman in Maussa, outfoxes Paulie, outmuscled (hugged) Urango, stopped a faded but still teak tough Castillo (one of the greatest 135lbers of recent years) and only lost once a the weight to a probably top 30 ATG.

An overachiever Ricky was, but he had a fairly formidable style, quick get to close the distance and could punch pretty well, murderous body pucker who, on his best daycould absorb a fair bit of punishment.

I actually think he has a case to be honest.

And didn't Pea beat McGirt at 140, but batter him at 147? Stoned and my memory has failed me.

Both 147 man and for the Ricky bit Cotto beat both Paulie and Maussa prior to those wins plus a dangerman in Rico Torres and took Quintana's 0 too along with some handy little wins sure the Tszyu fight was great for Ricky but Cotto's even above Hatton imo. Miguel never lost at 140 either although i'll let Ricky off that considering it was pacquaio

Khan does have better wins at 140 than Floyd.

    That's hardly controversial.

My mother could have given Gatti a run for his money by that point, he wasn't even a shell of his former super featherweight self.
