If the quistion was who's the most overrated living boxer. It would be a toss up between Duran and Pacquiao.

    Ali is the greatest.

I think Leonard is the most skilled ever.

Duran was 1-3 against Hearns, Leonard, and Hagler.
Leonard was 3-1-1 against Hearns, Hagler, and Duran.
Hagler was 2-1 against Hearns, Leonard, and Duran.
Hearns was 1-2-1 against Duran, Leonard, and Hagler.

Duran has the worst H2H of the big. And these are the fights that really prove greatness. Like it or not, he just doesn't measure up to the other three.

Duran had a HOF career before ever moving up in weight to where any of the others were and beat the best of the other three in the most significant fight he had with him. If you don't understand that, you don't understand their careers and your opinion doesn't count.

When has he stepped up and beat anyone? He got a fluke win over Leonard. That's it. He was in luck to have a guy fighting the wrong fight, and he barely won. The score cards were correct. If they were generous they we towards Duran not Leonard. He lost to Leonard twice, Hearns, Benitez and Hagler. He was never at risk in any of his lightweight fights, even though he dropped on to De Jesus. His next best wins after Leonard are Moore and Barkley both overrated wins.

Fluke win? SRL was fighting the wrong fight? Well, that is his problem. This is the answer SRL gave to Floyd Mayweather, Sr when Sr said he had a hurt hand when they fought. SRL stated: that is your problem. Duran failed to train like he should have, but partied way too much just like Camacho. Can't say too much for Duran vs Hearns, but the Duran vs Hagler fight was very good and it was winnable for Duran. He was not overrated. He was a fighter's fighter. I wish we had more fighters like him today who would fight anyone they put in front of him at any weight. Anyway, fluke, come on!

Look at his record against the big 3...I put Hagler, Leonard, and Hearns over Duran on my atg list.

Duran was a lightweight during his prime, Leonard was a welter, Hearns was a 154lber and Hagler was a middleweight.

It's unfair to make it that simplistic. The fact Duran beat Leonard, which neither Hearns or Hagler could do, is significant but, like I said, it's unfair. Duran was already an ATG before he fought any of the other three.

There is no argument for Hagler or Hearns being above Duran. None whatsoever.

I have to disagree with that ,How was that a fluke ? Duran fought one hell of a fight !Too bad in the rematch he couldn't duplicate that performance but credit goes to SRL ..But that was no fluke !
