SRL and Hearns yes, but you have to look at what Hagler accomplished at MW and what Duran Accomplished at LW. That is where we need to compare them. They were dominate at their respective weights. I mean, Duran only lost once at his respective weight.

Duran's over Leonard is better than Leonard over anyone if you get the context of the wins. Adding exclamation points doesn't make your point truer either, chief.

Jack, that is where we need to look again. Hagler was a MW and competed just at MW where he dominated. Then you look at what Duran did at LW. Not saying Hagler could have not competed elsewhere which I believe he could have dropped to 154 since he seemed to fight under 160 most of the time.

Not true at all thats by far the best win for Duran, but even if Leonard beat him in 1st fight it still would not be SRL best win(it would be Hagler), Leonard beat him in rematch, beat Benitez, beat Hearns, beat Hagler clearly better wins, if you dont judge fighters by their wins in their biggest fights how do you judge them??

The ignorance about Duran is astounding. It's like people have no idea who Esteban De Jesus, Ken Buchanan or Ernesto Marcel were, amongst many others. Excellent resume. To me, he is the greatest lightweight of all time.

Duran gets credit for machismo and charisma, but not for who he beat. Leonard beats him out easily. No competition. Hearns beat more legends than Duran did for that matter.
