I'm lost. Felix Trinidad, according to DDan is an ATG......even though he isn't top 3 at welter.......:think

That would mean Ike Williams and Carlos Ortiz aren't ATG's either :blood

The welterweight division is the most popular division in boxing. Its where most ATG's fight at. Robinson, SRL, Mayweather, Chavez, Whitaker, Pac, DLH, Hearns, Duran, Benetiz, etc. Of course Trinidad isn't going to be top 3 at Welterweight.. That's a ******ed statement.

 Talk about overrating someone's achievements. I'm not a Pacquaio fan at all.. but here's more overrating his achievements doing the same exact thing you're doing. Manny Pacquaio, who was a career light flyweight, earned the lineal.. dare I say it yet again.. the LINEAL Flyweight champion after shortly turning pro. Due to weight issues, he moved up to Super bantamweight and won the IBF title from Lehlo Hands of Stone Ledwaba, one of the best fighters of South Africa in his time and a worthy fighter to have adopted the nickname of ATG Roberto Duran. After that fight, he fought to a draw with 31-9-2 Agapito Sanchez for the WBO title, one of the fighters the best out of the Dominican Republic. Many say that it was a robbery. A couple defenses later, he fought el Grand Champion, and future ATG.. Marco the babyfaced Assassin Barrera. He KO'D him in the 11th round and completely outclassed him for the lineal featherweight championship. Next he fought another grand Mexican champion.. Juan Manual Marquez in the first fight of 4 for the lineal Featherweight title. He knocked Marquez not one, not two, but THREE.. YOU HEARD IT HERE.. THREE ****ING TIMES IN THE FIRST ROUND. UNHEARD OF. The fight ended in a draw but many feel Pac won. NExt, he had a hotly contested fight with another grand champion.. the protege of Julio Ceaser Chavez, Erik El Terrible Morales.. though Pac lost that fight, he fought him again and KNOCKED HIM OUT IN BOTH FIGHTS.. CAN YOU ****ING BELIEVE THAT? HE BEAT 3 ATG'S IN A ROW.. WHO HAS DONE THAT?

I could go on and exaggerate Pac's career some more, but you get it.

What statement? That Trinidad is an ATG? He is obviously. Never said he was an ATG top 3 at welterweight though.

So why would you say only a fighter that is top 3 in their division can be ATG?

    :huh

He was a two-weight world champion, lifting the flyweight title against the Thai legend Pone Kingpetch.

Moved up to bantamweight and won two bantamweight world titles against Eder ****ing Jofre. Defended against highly skilled British fighter, Alan Rudkin. Defeated Jofre again in a rematch, defending the titles for a second time. Defended against the criminally underrated Joe Medel, overturning a loss in his third defense. Then overcame against Bernardo Caraballo in his fourth defense. Knocked out a 34-9-10 Hajime Taroura in two rounds.

Lost the titles to the brilliant Lionel Rose in a hotly contested 15 round decision. Tried for the featherweight WBC title twice against the great Aussie boxer, Johnny Famechon whilst past his prime.

That's not overrating someone's achievements?

The title said name some of the greatest non ATG's in your opinion. My post was separated by weight class to determine in my opinion which fighters who weren't top 100 ATG and weren't top 3 in their respective weight class should be on the list in my opinion. Jesus christ, learn how to ****ing read.

Trinidad isn't a top 100 ATG either, though. So based on your 2 criteria he could qualify as a great, but non-ATG fighter.

Overrating. If that's not overrating, then the **** I stated about Pac isn't either. I could've gone on with Pac's career up until his fight with Bradley, yet it would be stupid and not prove a point. Harada shouldn't even be mentioned along the lines of Pac's resume. It's just stupid and laughable.
