    Anyone want to throw Panama Al Brown in there?

    And while Williams and Caballero are tall fighters, neither one really fights 'tall' in the sense discussed in the original post.

    vernon forrest was around 6 feet at welter and at his best used height an legth very effectivly prior to shoulder problems used very effective jab

    No ones mentioned Ali yet? Not super tall for a HW (I've heard from 6'3'' to 6'5'') but used height well and fought tall. Anyone who's seen him lean backwards to slip a jab and then lean back into a right hand can attest to that.

    Yeah, 6'4" was pretty big back then.

    Funny he won gold at LHW. Wonder if he could have took it HW.
