I would say cotto is the most concussive puncher.

I'd say the same but Cotto punch output more powerful than a prime Zab but Zab does have the more powerful one punch shot.

Zab has more one punch power ... given that he rocked Cotto, Tszyu, Mayweather, and Spinks w/ one punch.

He was on the verge of knocking Tszyu down in the first round of their fight, Cotto was hurt and was reduced to dirty tactics, Mayweather was arguabley down in their fight, and Spinks suffered his only KO loss to Judah.

Whenever Judah steps up in class his power doesn't appear to have any sufficiant effect, I'd have to say Cotto...comfortably.

Cotto hits harder and is stronger no doubt, but Zab hits more effectively. He turns on his punches better and they are placed very well. As for who does more damage with a single punch I'd go with Zab.

i wouldnt mind watching a re-match of this fight?

i feel like zab with a new game plan could do the job
if you sub tract low blows from cotto

Ya I think Zab is the kind of fighter who will give anyone problems unless you can take his confidence away. If there were no low blows and Zab had a real cutman I think the fight would have gone much differently.

Give me a ****in break first off the first one was not a low blow but was on the belt as both Larry Merchant and Lampley pointed out and the second low blow was low but Zab had a real late reaction to it which has me question the effectiveness of it, he was just trying to get Cotto DQ so he would'nt have to receive the beating in which he got. And no version of Zab beats 147 pound Cotto not even the one in the Spinks rematch.

    They're about even.
Zab's left is real strong and his right is ok
Cotto's 2 hands are evenly strong - stronger than Zab's right but not quite as strong as his left
... it's close and you can argue for both
