    Golovkin:

    Record:

    24-0 (21 KO) KO% 87.5

    Weight Class:

    Middleweight

    Notables:

"He’s a f__king beast. He’s been running guys out of here. Nobody under 175 pounds will spar with him. " -- Cruiserweight Ryan Coyne

"I must have done 50 rounds while in camp with Povetkin and it was three and half weeks before he hit me with something that made me hold on. With Golovkin I was ready to get out of the ring 45 seconds into our first round of sparring. He hit me with two lefts to the body in the identical spot and had me doubled over" -- Heavyweight David Imoesiri

    Matthysse:

    Record:

    32-2 (30 KO) KO% 85.71

    Weight Class:

    Junior Welterweight

    Notables:

The only man to drop Devon Alexander thus far.

The only man to have stopped Soto (albeit with Soto jumping weightclasses)

The only man to have stopped Ajose

According to Showtime there is an unverified report he has stopped or at least dropped every single opponent he's ever faced.

I voted Lucas but reading the testimony I'm unsure. They're neck in neck in terms of P4P power I'd ventured. Both hit like a ton of bricks.

GGG has concussive, one punch, game-changing power.

Matthysse hits hard, but isn't on the same level as the Kazak.

    GGG!

Matthysse because he is more proven P4P and resume wise, but let Golvkin get some good solid wins over name opponents and it could be him.

    Matthysse for now

As of right now I'd say Lucas.

Proska doesn't seem like the most durable guy around.

Whereas Matthyse has just ruined two strong chinned guys back to back (Soto, and Ajose).

GG has a better skill set than Matthyse, and is more accurate. But in terms of raw power, P4P I give Matthyse the edge.

You DO realize that Matthyse stopped Soto with one right hand, don't you?

GG has yet to fight someone with a chin like Soto's.

So that kills that argument. Try again.

Ouma hadn't been stopped in over a decade and was also more of a JMW although Golovkin is a small MW himself.

Matthysse has proven his against more world class opponents. I do think Golovkin hits harder P4P but we need more time and fights to really be able to determine. Both are brutal punchers, brutal body punchers and two of my favourites. I just want to see both get oppertunities to fight the top guys in their division.

Golovkin. Give Golo the sort of level fighter like Judah with that shaky chin and he'd spark him.

Simon went the distance with Arthur Abraham. He had never been down before knocked him out with a single punch.

Hard to split, but Golovkins win against Simon who had never been TKOd knocking him out in round 1 and before that Simon going 12 rounds with the Power hitting Abrahams,Simon was regarded as having a good chin before he met Golovkin.

And The Proska fight,Has Class Proska and had never been TKOd in his whole Career Gennady had him on the Canvas 3 times before he Knocked Him out in round 5, I rate Proska fairly highly and Gennady Toyed with him.!!!!

I go for Borats cousin. He seriously looks like he brakes bones.
