You actually think De La Hoya was relevant? What, that was 2007.. Oscar peaked in 2000. Just 7 years past his prime.

There were reasons Mosley didn't fight him. I don't remember though.
But You really think Shane was scared to fight him 6 years past his peak, but then fights him 10 years past his peak when he's even worse?

Family trips Tooth acts n **** lol but imo he was setting up an oscar vs floyd fight the entire time cuzhe even suggested that floyd fight oscar instead. Oscar is mosley boss n he wasnt getting in the way of oscars money lol.

GOLDEN BOY, may not rank higher than pbf in atg status but he ranks higher than arum in business mode hahahahahaha jk I hate arum though he hypes his fighters way to much and then contradicts himself. like he said floyd was the best fighter to ever lace em up just 4 years ago then now he has no chin n gets ko'd by his current cash cow. I understand youre a promoter but keep it real.

got off topic lol Mayeather>>Oscar and Shane regarless of time period

Imagine Oscars resume and then being undefeated, he would be top 5

For now, I'd go with Oscar. Floyd's not done, though... by the end of his career, I would be surprised if Floyd is not considered clearly ranked above Oscar in most ATG lists.

He can still be past prime when p4p ranked, later when it turned out pea was on drugs and him ending his career slightly after that loss while not winning a fight (except for that nc) might also influence this view.
It is still his top 5 wins though imo.

sweet pea was still rated high p4p like how mayweather is now or how mosley was a year ago, old but still highly rated.

he was 33 or 34 i think when the fight went down, riddled with drug problems, and never won a professional fight after that fight. many people do believe he won that fight, i know my father does.

Pea was still prime, just coming down. He faded after oscar's fight though. He hadn't lost in 10 years, just the draw with Chavez.

I voted DLH. Mayweather = duck duck duck. You can't call him an ATG. a duck can't be an ATG.

Beating a still capable Pernell Whitaker ranked at #1, and getting robbed against a Prime Shane Mosley and a prime undefeated Felix Trinidad alone allows him to compete with Mayweathers resume, which is itself deep and impressive but lacking the few spectacular wins Oscar deserves to have on his record.

Add along a very deep resume with wins over a still capable Julio Cesar Chavez, JJ Leija (plus the man to give him his only prior loss, Ruelas), Manuel Medina, John John Molina, Fernando Vargas, a prime and bigger Ricardo Mayorga, Ike Quartey (admittedly questionable), Yori Boy Campas, Arturo Gatti, Hector Camacho, stopping a prime and undefeated Genaro Hernandez in 2 rounds less than Floyd.

Oscar also matched the record for most championship belts in legitimate weight classes (6) before Pacquiao broke the record, and has one of the best mixes of physical ability and technical ability & versatility of anyone in the sport within the last 25 years, which he's proven through his many notable wins and even memorable losses.

I don't see how Floyd has outdone him in his accomplishments at all.
