Floyd and it's as simple as comparing their resumes and accomplishments. There are plenty of folks who like ODLH better but the records and results speak for themselves.

The bottom line is Floyd DID beat SSM, he beat ODLH (at ODLH's weight) he beat undefeated Corrales, undefeated Hatton, top 5 P4P JMM, Hernandez, Castillo twice, I mean dude you aren't even trying to be real. You make these dismissive comments about the SSM win/ODLH win, yet credit ODLH with the Chavez and Quartey victories, why/how?

Floyd's resume compared to Oscar's is a joke. Sure floyd hasn't lost, but he hasn't fought nearly the caliber Oscar did. Oscar was fighting prime greats, not greats out of their prime, plus he beat guys who had decade long win streaks such as Pernell, Chavez, who may haven't been completely prime but they weren't over the hill by any means.
Floyd's beat some good opponents, but great ones? Judah, Hatton, Gatti? Those aren't greats. Even Castillo had 3 losses before Floyd fought him. Mosely and Oscar are floyd's biggest names but they weren't relevant anymore when Floyd fought them.

    DLH, on this assumption.

Prime DLH beats everyone on Floyd's resume more convincingly than Floyd as well as Floyd himself.

The only prime "greate" Oscar fought were Shane Mosely, Felix Trinidad, Benard Hopkins, Floyd Mayweather (who may not have even been prime) and Manny Pacquiao, he fought JCC and Sweet-pea, these are the only fighters that can be considered Atg not saying they all are but these are the only ones who can be considered and Oscar went 2-6 against these dudes...

Just because he fought these fighters and lost doesn't boost his status, **** he lost...if losing to some of the best around makes you an all time great we should be talking about Glen Johnson and Emmanuel Agustus as Atg 1&2...

And for the record by the time Oscar was 33-34 years old he was wash-up Floyd is still going strong, hell I favor Vic Ortiz over a 34yo Oscar all day...

I say that because he was out of his comfortable fighting weight and Floyd had already peaked a few years before Oscar, Floyd against Gatti now that was prime form right there, he just seems prime cause he so skilled but he was not at his best against Oscar, so come with another argument troll...

You can move up in weight, out of comfort zone, and still be in your prime era if that move wasn't destructive as it was for RJJ. Floyd was able to move back down to welterweight and maintain domination. That shows he was still in prime. Whereas RJJ couldn't and was definately passed prime. Now what we have to think about is Floyd's aging which is making him slip a bit but he is still the dominant welter today. Therefore it's still prime years, but at the end of the spectrum. When Floyd starts to lose reflexes, gets hit clearly, and loses to people he would have otherwise not lost to then he is passed prime.

In other words we can say a fighter is passed prime in hingsight but it's a big guessing game to say it in their time of division domination.

Bottom line is 95% of you who voted odlh are just Floyd haters, not looking at the facts, put SRL, srr, JCC, Hagler, Pernell, hell even Duran but never Oscar, especially since Floyd kicked his ass head to head that says it all, if Oscar was better than Floyd he would have found a way to win....case closed...
