I said it before, and I'll say it again. The worst thing about PBF coming out of retirement is that our forum ends up littered with joy boys.
B-Hop, close but clear. In his 97-01 prime Hopkins was a magnificent middleweight, easily as good as peak Floyd in terms of ability. I'd rank Hopkins far higher h2h at mw than I would Floyd in either of the traditional weight classes he has spent time in. And for me, B-Hop has a stronger resume and comparable (if not superior) ring achievements. Yes, Hopkins by a slim but sure margin.
Hopkins definitely. He's accomplished more than Mayweather also. His longevity is actually just ridiculous. It's so insane that some people are saying he's near-prime at 45.
They're both top 50 to me but I rate Hopkins quite a bit higher. The dominance and unifications and insane longevity. It's subjective, of course, but that's the stuff that I'd favor.
I'm a big fan of both these guys, and have followed both of their careers. They both have achieved a lot and beaten many good fighters. I'd have to give the edge to Mayweather though as he is definately the more talented fighter.
