There's not one HW I would say he couldn't beat. Hopefully he's going to evolve even more and yesterday he looked a bit rough around the edges at times, but he looks to have nice fundamentals, a good boxing brain, strength, power, size, great resilience and is a great finisher. With that package you have a chance against anyone who's ever laced them up.

But let's wait and see before any firm predictions are made. He did look a bit vulnerable yesterday and we don't know yet if Povetkin exposed him just a bit or he had a bit of an off night or if it's flaws he will get rid of. He's only met 2-3 world class fighters yet, so there's a lot more to find out about him.

He probably beats anyone prior to the 90s

1890s? Corbett, Burns, Hart for sure. Don't know about Johnson. Dempsey could fight for 15 rounds like Povetkin fought for 3 rounds....take that for what its worth. Right now, after 22 fights, I see most of the prior champs beating him, including a younger Wlad.

I am not in any hurry here.

I have followed Joshua since the amateurs, and I am impressed by what I see, but I can wait before giving a full appraisal of his career.

Ali would catch him with right hands all night he was far quicker than Povetkin, Foreman would have knocked AJ out with the right hand also, AJ couldn`t handle a big puncher coming at him like that, he would panic and Ali and Foreman took a better shot than AJ does, Lyle would have knocked AJ out if he caught him how he caught Foreman when he decked George in their knockdown fest epic in the late 70`s.

Ali and Foreman didn't fight any ranked big heavyweights so they never proved their Chins against someone the size of Joshua

Foreman made his reputation fighting guys under 220 no reason to think his power would translate well today

Lol Foreman knocked out guys who were in shape who could easily weigh 270 pounds and be lard asses if they choose too. You clearly are another one of these casual boxing fans. You know putting weight on your frame doesn't fix your chin kid. Also little casual fan, a 40 year old Foreman fought a 27 year old Everett "Bigfoot" Martin and was able to knock this guy down and almost out with one uppercut. Wladimir Klistchko fought a 36/37 version of Martin and couldn't remotely hurt him or knock him down in their first fight. Which means a old Foreman still had more power in one punch than a young Wlad. Also casual fan you know Foreman fought until the late 90s right? He fought guys like Holyfield who fought guys like Lewis, Rahman, and others and said Foreman hit him the hardest. You know Rahman the guy who knocked out Corrie Sanders the guy who knocked out Wladmir Klistchko. If you don't know boxing (which you don't). Maybe you should stop making comments in this forum until you learn a little bit about the sport.

Foreman never beat a rated contender over 6ft 3 or over 225 not one. Joshua is solid muscle in the mid 240s not flabby at all and neither was Lewis at 240 plus

Lou Savarese and Shannon Briggs weren't over 6'4" and weren't ever rated/ranked contenders? Hmmmm....

AJ fills in for Carnera against Max Baer, and suffers the same fate:
(i.e., it is all ones' own opinion):

1934-06-14 : Max Baer 209½ lbs beat Primo Carnera 263¼ lbs by TKO at 2:16 in round 11 of 15
"There has been a long debate about exactly how many knockdowns Carnera suffered in this bout. Some say as few as seven, others say 10 and still others claim there were 12. Nat Fleischer, who was ringside for the fight, stated in the August 1934 issue of The Ring Magazine, of which he was the founder and editor, that Carnera was down 12 times and slipped once. He gave Baer three knockdowns in the first round, three in the second, one in the third, three in the 10th and two in the 11th. He said Carnera slipped in the eighth after missing a punch."

Savarese was never a top 10 heavyweight or even close to that level. Briggs was unranked when he fought Foreman and beat him anyway
