Big heavyweights like Carnera, Lewis, Klitschko, etc...fighting other smaller heavyweights do not count.

I consider the Tarver win his 2nd best win behind the Tito one.

He was just aiming a little too high. I'm sure he would've had more success calling out WWs :deal

Most of Wlads opponents are either far shorter/less reach or much lighter Byrd was only 213lbs. He likes fighting the small guys.

He lost no doubt but the way he fought that fight was like a scared man. If that fight had to end by KO then Briggs would have won. Sultan never hurt him and was afraid to stay near him for more than 10 seconds.

Without blown up fighters, who were ineffective at that weight, Hopkins would have a "decent" resume, considering his losses. Sadly, because he beat fighters who the media hyped up, fans think he beat tough opposition.

    He didn't.

I hope he goes down as a guy who was beaten twice by a guy who struggled with Spinks, rather than someone who beat several ATG's.

Hopkins is one of those fighters whose resume does them more justice than their talent. The opposite of a guy like Larry Holmes, maybe.

Jermain Taylor is well on his way to making a career out of it. Too bad for him he's got to fight Pavlik next, otherwise he could continue picking on little guys for who knows how long - even if he didn't win, HBO would be sure to get him the nod, just like they've been doing! :yep

Less than a month to go to the KTFO. Goodnight HBO hype job. Bye, bye Gift Decision. :nod
