I gotta agree with Jermain Taylor. It's true that he has had some tough fights so he deserves full credit for that but that does not change the fact that he has fought moslty smaller guys his whole career. I count count winky because he was always a big supermiddle and had a few fights unmder his belt at 160.

Cory Spinks - Former 147 fighter first fight at middle
Kassim Ouma - Former 154 first fight at middle
Raul Marquez - Former 154 first fight at middle
Alex Bunema - Former 154 first and last fight at middle
Rogelio Martinez - Fomer 154 first fight at middle

I could go on and on but over half his resume is made up of guys either making their middleweight debut or with only a fight or 2 at middleweight

I also nominate Terry Norris, one of my favorites.

Oscar also gets a nomination, but at least he fought bigger guys as well as smaller guys moving up.

Some of the larger Welterweights are taking advantage of the 24 hour weigh-in a little too liberally if you ask me, Judah looked like a toothpick next to cotto and some of the taller ones are just taking the **** with the amount of weight they put on over night.

I was thinking more about guys who fought others moving up, as the list for guys who liberally use the 24 (more like 32) hour procedure would be too long.

Still, Arturo Gatti gets a lifetime nomination for "making" 141 against Gamache and then outweighing Joey by 16 lbs in that debacle.

I was doing some boxrecing and this is what I came up with.

    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=9016&cat=boxer

TKO 2 Bernie Miller, Rocky outweighed him 154 to 145.5

TKO 4 Bummy Davis, Rocky outweighed him 151.75 to 146 (not really that much by that era's standards)

Two 10th round stoppages of Red Cochrane, considered to be his best KOs according to The Ring's Top 100 Punchers Issue. Rocky outweighed him 153 to 142.75 and 154 to 145.

TKO 2 of Marty Servo, Rocky outweighed Servo 152 to 144.5

KO 2 of Bobby Claus, Rocky outweighed Bobby 159.75 to 149.

TKO 10 of Charley Fusari, Rocky outweighed him 159.5 to 147.5

KO 1 of Joe Curcio, Rocky weighed 162.25 and Joe was 153.5

Draw with Tony Janiro, Rocky weighed 159.75 and Tony 152.75. He beat Janior later 2x, with 4.5 and 6 pounds on him in each bout.

Graziano is the winner for now.
