Hatton - Shane Mosley. He would have more chance against Cotto than Shane IMO, even though Cotto beat Shane.

Cotto - Mayweather. Floyd would figure him out and outbox him for the second half of the fight and win a UD.

Mayweather - Margarito. I think the reasons are pretty obvious, though Floyd would still probably emerge victorious he would have a fair few marks on him.

Klitschko - Ibragimov. Perhaps the most boring fight in history.

Pacquiao - JMM. Surely a controversial decision can't go his way for the third time!

Calzaghe - Tough one. Perhaps Glen Johnson, but I would say Froch, on the basis that Joe could underestimate Carl and steal a controversial SD!

    Hatton - Cotto perhaps?

Cotto - Paul Williams? I honestly don't think this guy is scared of anybody...

    PBF - Mosley

Wlad - Povetkin. He KNOWS Povetkin will take him into deep waters and is already trying to duck him

Pac - Guzman. Horrible style matchup for him and very low reward, high risk

    JC - Dawson

There is an amazing amount of Cotto hugging going on!

A Hatton/Cotto fight would be a brilliant spectacle if Ricky is on top form.

Cotto would smash Williams - Quintana schooled (well, ok not quite schooled) him one handed for me.

Wlad would chin Povetkin, he is so overrated. The toughest match for Wlad would be a rematch with Peter (though he is a fat pudding) and perhaps Haye after David has a couple of tune ups.

Chad Dawson is also very overrated (he is good, but not as people think) - Joe would school him for me. To beat Calzaghe you need to be experienced and capable of switching tactics throughout a fight - this is what bamboozled Kessler from round 4-11 and cost him the win.

Yikes I disagree with you on damn near everything you wrote.

I realize that Cotto would beat Williams, but who else would Cotto not want to fight after Mayweather? I was trying to be a little original and pick someone different, and I think Williams' reach, punch output, and iron chin would make it a "slightly tough" fight for him

Wlad isn't as great of a unified heavyweight champ as everyone makes him out to be imo. He is as mentally weak as they come! He also doesn't like to get pressured, so whats he going to do against a guy who only has one gear (forward)? Also Povetkin, unlike 99% of Wlads other opponents, has boxing skill to match Wlads. He also has an iron chin and a workrate better than anyone in the division. Povetkin will upset Wlad, you wait and see :D

And as for Calzaghe, once again don't think he "fears" anyone but surely he doesn't want to face THE MAN at 175 if he doesn't have to, hence why he's looking for Pavlik for his next opponent. And NO Dawson is not overrated. After the Johnson fight he is now definitely underrated on this site. The problem is that Johnson is just like BHop; he makes you look bad even if you win.

Hatton - Margarito, RH can admit he could win PBF or Cotto... Tony just tooo BIG

    Cotto - Nuzhnenko :rofl

PBF - Mosely almost as big risk as Cotto but very low reward.. at least until Shane makes a statement like KO Mayorga

    Wlad - Iggy, not again

Pac - Absolutely no one if money is right.

    Calzaghe - Hopkins, not again

Ok I take back my previous JC pick. The last man JC would want to face is Andrade, most definitely

Margo vs Hatton would be an entertaining affair - two guys just standing toe to toe and having a war!

It would last longer than the Cintron fight, because Hatton has much more bottle than Kermit IMO.

Dude that is any fighter in the history of the sport. 99.9% of boxers today would fight a bear if you paid them enough money.

hatton-Witter, this is a fight that could make hatton look really bad if he were to lose, or even be in a close fight with.

cotto-Delahoya, I dont think there is another fighter out there right now that would be a bigger style mismatch for Cotto.

pbf-Clottey, I think that of all the welterweights Clottey is the one that has the style best suit to beat Floyd

wlad (anyone except his bro)-Shannon Briggs. Fast starter with a big punch, the first three or so rounds would be hell for Wlad. So much so that Steward got Wlad out of a fight that was signed for MSG a few years back. Steward stated that Briggs is the worse possible fight for Wlad.

pac-Nate Campbell, Too strong. I think that he would walk right though Pac.

calzaghe-Dawson. A nightmare fight for Joe.

Good picks! I almost put Campbell for Pac too.....but AWESOME pick with DLH for Cotto. I don't know why I didn't think of that one, but it would obviously be Cottos toughest fight (physically)

Hatton doesn't have the strength to compete against the 147 pounders, especially not the strongest. If Cintrons bombs bounced harmlessly off of Margarito , what could Hatton do to Antonio? Rick was flattened by Mayweather and hurt badly by Collazo.
    Margarito would end Hattons career.

And here was me thinking that Calzaghe was 'THE MAN' at 175. Errr, run me through how Dawson arrived at that accolade again, would you?
