    Margarito beat Cotto.

    Mosley beat Margarito.

    Mayweather is as of now still retired.

    So who is the best Welterweight in the World?

    There is no current "Man" at welter. This needs to be settled by all parties again. But Shane is #1 right now.

    Even though Floyd is retired, I still consider him to be the best at 147. I think he would beat Shane, Tony, and Miguel.

    Its wide open as to who is the man. Shanes on first, though.

    Mosley.

    Cotto is finished and when he comes back and he shows signs that he done, this will prove my point. Margo ruined him.

    With that being said, The only big players are Paul Williams, mayweather, pacman, Mosley, Margo.

    Margarito will come back. This guy is Mexican!

    Not when he hasnt fought the top 3 guys he aint. Shane, margo and Cotto got better resume's at 147 then Floyd.

    Shane performed well most recently, so in my opinion, he is the top guy. Also, he barely lost to Cotto. Let's say that Mosley got the nod instead of Cotto, how angry would people have been?
    He hung with Cotto and crushed Margo, he is the top right now. Have him fight another top Welter or two (Cintron, Williams) and he is the man. Not now though.
