Your logics don't work friend. You have to beat the best to be the best. The Cotto that beat Mosley was not the same Cotto Pac faced. Its like when people said Hatton would beat Mayweather because he demolished Castillo which Mayweather couldn't, and look what ended up happening!

read where he edited. Give the man some credit. At least he can admit he may be wrong.

    Something I still haven't done about the Clottey-Cotto fight...:fire:fire:fire

Judah was the man until he lost to Baldo
Mayweather was the man when he beat Baldo
Mayweather retired...shane and cotto fought for the "man" status
Cotto won but lost to Margo making Margo the man
Margo got he's ass beat by Mosley making Mosley the man

Pacman beat cotto but Cotto wasn't the man.
Mayweather has to beat Mosley to be the man like everyone else.

i understand what you all are saying now, its all about beating the number 1 ranked in the division to be the boss of it. I was wrong in that sense definitely

interesting, when mayweather beats mosley, they got a much better advertising line

the number 1 welterweight vs the number 1 pound for pound. its going to be epic

Yeah great exapmle of a blind nuthugger, bet you voted for Manny, I voted for Shane. Mayweather is undefeated, beat the undisputed champion and former champ, retired and came back. he is top 3 same as Manny but neither are the man, Shane is.

This is why I feel they stopped negotiations for Pac V Mayweather happening in March. If Mayweather can beat Mosley, and Pac can beat Clottey, the demand for the fight would be even bigger.

Plus among the choices, Shane has done the most in the division (although admittedly over a longer amount of time)

But yeah, mainly because Mosley beat "the man" at the time, which was Margo.

Why are people say Pacquaio? Come on ffs. He's fought at the weight twice? A faded ODLH and Miguel Cotto.

It's blaitently obvious it's Shane Mosley. He's been campaigning at the weight for 10 years now.

Pacquaio is great and all, but Pacquaio fans really need to stop being bias and think about it. Just because you beat a person at a weight doesn't suddenly become 'The Man' at Welterweight.
