of c pac is a tougher opponent so its hard to tell. tito was fighting at 170 pounds? no wonder he looks soft while dlh looked drained. dlh at 154 might look better but the version of dlh vs pac didnt look better than tito in my eyes.

They are both EQUALLY SHOT, and should BOTH RETIRE. At least Tito was schooled by a fighter who once fought at heavyweight and at least won a couple of rounds (After having been inactive for THREE YEARS) . Oscar had remained more active and was still schooled by a 105 pound fighter in every single round and the fight was stopped, I mean come on , a guy who had only fought ONCE at 135 pounds. All the people here were saying Oscar would knock him the **** out. And now the problem was weight drain? I never heard that concern BEFORE the fight.

When have you seen Tito cornered in a corner like that receiving punishment? When have you seen him quit in a stool? He has much more heart.

i saw a dlh that just couldnt get off, or better yet "couldnt pull the trigger" against the smaller, faster southpaw whom we all know is dlh worst stylistic match up. weight drained? -maybe. its hard to say when oscar was weighing in at 145 damn near 2 weeks before the fight and was in great shape. he looked fine against 2-pounds' though.

trinidad on the other hand has been in active for years. he fought at a much higher weight b/c i doubt he can even make 154. there were definetly signs of inability & ring rust against jones. and imo trinidad was done against winky. add a couple years of inactivity and 20 pounds and what do you get...?

This is hard to say. Although Trinidad did not look so great against Winky Wright. I am not sure what made Oscar look bad. A combination of inactivity and the southpaw and speed of pacman. The age thing is overrated.

de la hoya was a big favorite and got hammered. no version of trinidad would of beaten jones and he was the naturally smaller guy. de la hoyas loss was more due to being shot but they are both past it now. if they both want one more fight i hope they can fight at a catch weight. it would be a good farewell fight due to the controversy in fight 1.

A "Big" name loses a big fight.
    Shot ???
Your not as good as you were 10 years ago.
You get beat by a quicker and better fighter.
    Shot ??
What the **** does that mean.
And what the **** do you know.

i doubt its possible, but a farewell fight between the 2 would be fine with me. and imo oscar had trinidad beat but since he ran the last few rounds, he got what he deserved.

look ya'll, the title of this thread is "who is more shot" NOT just who looked worse in theyre last performances. i mean, any true boxing fan that has been following the sport for over a decade would know that trinidad is obviously the more shot fighter. look at the big picture: prime to now, past perfomances & oppositions with intangibles, past to current physical & mental condition, and common fu*king sense.

"past to current physical & mental condition, and common fu*king sense."

Tito in a bad mental condition? LOL. I see the guy very often and he's very happy trust me. He lost to RJJ at 170. Oscar lost to a guy who fought at 105 pounds and only fought once at lightweight, and got OWNED worse than Tito ever got OWNED. He quit in his stool for crying out loud.

At least Tito after a THREE YEAR layoff Tito can fight a full 12 rounds , even at 170 he does not fade as badly as Hoya fades in EVERY fight. LOL

i didnt mean mental condition like that sonny. i meant determination, drive, confidence, etc. B-hop broke him and tito was never the same after.

and once again, you like many others are basing "whos shot" only on theyre latest performance (pac/jones). try watching the past 4-5 fights and you could see each fighters decline. -trinidad by far is the more shot fighter.

How does Oscar have more "determination, drive, confidence"? LOL.

Why say one is waaay more shot than the other? They're both 2-3 in their last five fights. Tito was never the same after the BHOP fight? Well Duh! But how about Oscar? Tito lasted longer buddy and was not in the ground crying like Oscar, he took the beating like a man. Tito beat Mayorga first and softened him up real nicely for the golden girls.

Oscar's embarrassment by Manny was much worse than all of Tito's losses put together . Hahaha he quit in his stool against a guy who started at 105 and had only fought once at 135! you heard that? ONLY ONCE. LOL. Great logic there, the guy who quits against a midget is not as shot as the guy who after a 3 year layoff lasts 12 rounds with a former heavyweight. LOL.

I would not like to see Tito vs. Oscar. What a waste of time and attention. They had their time to have that rematch and didn't. Let's focus on Pacman and Hatton and Margarito and guys who are good now. The point is not to pad these guys pockets for nostalgia but for boxing to be rewarded with the best matchups it can have for the sport. Tito and Oscar has not fought enough in recent years to deserve another big payday.

Jones is more shot than Trinidad and still beat him. Oscar lost to a legitimate fighter in the prime of his career, who cares what he *used to* weigh?

I can't believe that some of you are claiming that Trinidad's half ass decent performance when fighting other shot fighters makes him less shot.
